Heat Treatment Process

Global Self-Construct Kit Homes has all there timber certified from the sawmill prior to it being delivered to the factory before any manufacturing is performed.Every timber is Compliant with NIMF No 15 through the heat treatment process, . Every timber is handpicked for prior to the construction of any of the chosen designs.Heat Treatment (HT) is a process whereby lumber is heated in a closed chamber until it reaches a core temperature of 56°C for at least 30 minutes in order to kill pathogens such as insects, fungi, or micro-organisms.This process allows the timber to be issued with a Phytosanitary certificate.
